# Translation Ayah
1 Hast thou received the story of the Enveloper? هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ
2 Faces on that day humbled, وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَاشِعَةٌ
3 labouring, toilworn, عَامِلَةٌ نَّاصِبَةٌ
4 roasting at a scorching fire, تَصْلَى نَارًا حَامِيَةً
5 watered at a boiling fountain, تُسْقَى مِنْ عَيْنٍ آنِيَةٍ
6 no food for them but cactus thorn لَّيْسَ لَهُمْ طَعَامٌ إِلَّا مِن ضَرِيعٍ
7 unfattening, unappeasing hunger. لَا يُسْمِنُ وَلَا يُغْنِي مِن جُوعٍ
8 Faces on that day jocund, وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ نَّاعِمَةٌ
9 with their striving well-pleased, لِسَعْيِهَا رَاضِيَةٌ
10 in a sublime Garden, فِي جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٍ
11 hearing there no babble; لَّا تَسْمَعُ فِيهَا لَاغِيَةً
12 therein a running fountain, فِيهَا عَيْنٌ جَارِيَةٌ
13 therein uplifted couches فِيهَا سُرُرٌ مَّرْفُوعَةٌ
14 and goblets set forth وَأَكْوَابٌ مَّوْضُوعَةٌ
15 and cushions arrayed وَنَمَارِقُ مَصْفُوفَةٌ
16 and carpets outspread. وَزَرَابِيُّ مَبْثُوثَةٌ
17 What, do they not consider how the camel was created, أَفَلَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَى الْإِبِلِ كَيْفَ خُلِقَتْ
18 how heaven was lifted up, وَإِلَى السَّمَاء كَيْفَ رُفِعَتْ
19 how the mountains were hoisted, وَإِلَى الْجِبَالِ كَيْفَ نُصِبَتْ
20 how the earth was outstretched? وَإِلَى الْأَرْضِ كَيْفَ سُطِحَتْ
21 Then remind them! Thou art only a reminder; فَذَكِّرْ إِنَّمَا أَنتَ مُذَكِّرٌ
22 thou art not charged to oversee them. لَّسْتَ عَلَيْهِم بِمُصَيْطِرٍ
23 But he who turns his back, and disbelieves, إِلَّا مَن تَوَلَّى وَكَفَرَ
24 God shall chastise him with the greatest chastisement. فَيُعَذِّبُهُ اللَّهُ الْعَذَابَ الْأَكْبَرَ
25 Truly, to Us is their return; إِنَّ إِلَيْنَا إِيَابَهُمْ
26 then upon Us shall rest their reckoning. ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا حِسَابَهُمْ
