# Translation Ayah
1 By heaven and the night-star! وَالسَّمَاء وَالطَّارِقِ
2 And what shall teach thee what is the night-star? وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الطَّارِقُ
3 The piercing star! النَّجْمُ الثَّاقِبُ
4 Over every soul there is a watcher. إِن كُلُّ نَفْسٍ لَّمَّا عَلَيْهَا حَافِظٌ
5 So let man consider of what he was created; فَلْيَنظُرِ الْإِنسَانُ مِمَّ خُلِقَ
6 he was created of gushing water خُلِقَ مِن مَّاء دَافِقٍ
7 issuing between the loins and the breast-bones. يَخْرُجُ مِن بَيْنِ الصُّلْبِ وَالتَّرَائِبِ
8 Surely He is able to bring him back إِنَّهُ عَلَى رَجْعِهِ لَقَادِرٌ
9 upon the day when the secrets are tried, يَوْمَ تُبْلَى السَّرَائِرُ
10 and he shall have no strength, no helper. فَمَا لَهُ مِن قُوَّةٍ وَلَا نَاصِرٍ
11 By heaven of the returning rain, وَالسَّمَاء ذَاتِ الرَّجْعِ
12 by earth splitting with verdure, وَالْأَرْضِ ذَاتِ الصَّدْعِ
13 surely it is a decisive word; إِنَّهُ لَقَوْلٌ فَصْلٌ
14 it is no merriment. وَمَا هُوَ بِالْهَزْلِ
15 They are devising guile, إِنَّهُمْ يَكِيدُونَ كَيْدًا
16 and I am devising guile. وَأَكِيدُ كَيْدًا
17 So respite the unbelievers; delay with them awhile. فَمَهِّلِ الْكَافِرِينَ أَمْهِلْهُمْ رُوَيْدًا
