By [the winds] that pluck out vehemently |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079001.mp3
|
| 2 |
and those that blow gently, |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079002.mp3
|
| 3 |
and by [the clouds] that swim serenely and |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079003.mp3
|
| 4 |
by those that outstrip them suddenly, |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079004.mp3
|
| 5 |
and by those who regulate events. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079005.mp3
|
| 6 |
On the Day when a violent convulsion will convulse [the world], |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079006.mp3
|
| 7 |
to be followed by further [convulsions], |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079007.mp3
|
| 8 |
hearts will be throbbing, |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079008.mp3
|
| 9 |
while eyes will be downcast. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079009.mp3
|
| 10 |
They say, "What? shall we be brought back to life, |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079010.mp3
|
| 11 |
even after we have turned into decayed bones?" |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079011.mp3
|
| 12 |
and they say, "That indeed would be a losing return." |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079012.mp3
|
| 13 |
But all it will take is a single blast, |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079013.mp3
|
| 14 |
and behold! They will all come out in the open. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079014.mp3
|
| 15 |
Have you heard the story of Moses? |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079015.mp3
|
| 16 |
His Lord called out to him by the sacred valley of Tuwa: |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079016.mp3
|
| 17 |
[saying], "Go to Pharaoh, he has exceeded all bounds, |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079017.mp3
|
| 18 |
and say, 'Will you reform yourself? |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079018.mp3
|
| 19 |
Do you want me to guide you to your Lord, so that you should fear Him?'" |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079019.mp3
|
| 20 |
Moses showed him the great sign, |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079020.mp3
|
| 21 |
but he denied it and refused [the faith]. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079021.mp3
|
| 22 |
Then he quickly turned his back. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079022.mp3
|
| 23 |
And he summoned all his people, |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079023.mp3
|
| 24 |
and proclaimed, "I am your supreme Lord," |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079024.mp3
|
| 25 |
but God seized him and meted out to him the chastisement of both the next world and the present: |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079025.mp3
|
| 26 |
surely there is in this a lesson for the God-fearing. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079026.mp3
|
| 27 |
[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079027.mp3
|
| 28 |
by raising its vault high and fashioning it flawlessly, |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079028.mp3
|
| 29 |
and making its night dark and bringing forth its morning light, |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079029.mp3
|
| 30 |
and the earth which He spread out, |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079030.mp3
|
| 31 |
after that bringing forth from it its water and its pasture land, |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079031.mp3
|
| 32 |
and making the mountains firm: |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079032.mp3
|
| 33 |
[all this] as a means of sustenance for you and your animals? |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079033.mp3
|
| 34 |
When the great over-whelming event arrives, |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079034.mp3
|
| 35 |
on the Day that man remembers what he strove for |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079035.mp3
|
| 36 |
and Hell is there for all to see, |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079036.mp3
|
| 37 |
anyone who has acted arrogantly |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079037.mp3
|
| 38 |
and prefers the life of this world, |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079038.mp3
|
| 39 |
will find himself in Hell; |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079039.mp3
|
| 40 |
but one who fears to stand before his Lord and restrained himself from base desires, |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079040.mp3
|
| 41 |
shall dwell in Paradise. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079041.mp3
|
| 42 |
They will ask you [Prophet] about the Hour, saying, "When it will come to pass?", |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079042.mp3
|
| 43 |
what have you to do with the mentioning of it? |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079043.mp3
|
| 44 |
Your Lord alone knows when it will come; |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079044.mp3
|
| 45 |
you are but a warner for those who fear it. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079045.mp3
|
| 46 |
On the Day when they see it, they will feel as if they had tarried in this world for only one evening or one morning. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/079046.mp3
|
