# Translation Ayah
1 (Muhammad), have We not comforted your heart, أَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَ
2 relieved you of the burden وَوَضَعْنَا عَنكَ وِزْرَكَ
3 which had been a heavy weight upon your back الَّذِي أَنقَضَ ظَهْرَكَ
4 and granted you an exalted reputation? وَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَ
5 After every difficulty there is relief. فَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا
6 Certainly, after every difficulty there comes relief. إِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا
7 When you are free from (your obligations), strive hard (to worship God) فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَانصَبْ
8 and be devoted to your Lord's service. وَإِلَى رَبِّكَ فَارْغَبْ
