1 |
Someone has (needlessly) demanded to experience the torment (of God), |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070001.mp3
|
2 |
which will inevitably seize the disbelievers. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070002.mp3
|
3 |
No one can defend him against God, the Lord of the exalted positions. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070003.mp3
|
4 |
On that Day (of Judgment), long as fifty thousand years, the angels and the Spirit will ascend to Him. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070004.mp3
|
5 |
(Muhammad), exercise patience with no complaints. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070005.mp3
|
6 |
They think that it (the Day of Judgment) is far away. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070006.mp3
|
7 |
but We see it to be very near. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070007.mp3
|
8 |
On the day when the heavens become like molten metal. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070008.mp3
|
9 |
and the mountains become like wool, |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070009.mp3
|
10 |
even intimate friends will not inquire about their friends, |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070010.mp3
|
11 |
though they may see each other. A sinner will wish that he could save himself from the torment of that day by sacrificing his children, |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070011.mp3
|
12 |
his wife, his brother, |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070012.mp3
|
13 |
his kinsmen who gave him refuge (from hardship) |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070013.mp3
|
14 |
and all those on earth. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070014.mp3
|
15 |
By no means! For the raging flames of the fire |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070015.mp3
|
16 |
will strip-off the flesh |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070016.mp3
|
17 |
and drag into it anyone who has turned away (from obeying God), |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070017.mp3
|
18 |
and who accumulated wealth without spending it for a good purpose. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070018.mp3
|
19 |
Human beings are created greedy. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070019.mp3
|
20 |
When they are afflicted, they complain, |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070020.mp3
|
21 |
but when they are fortunate, they become niggardly |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070021.mp3
|
22 |
except those who are steadfast |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070022.mp3
|
23 |
and constant in their prayers. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070023.mp3
|
24 |
They are those who assign a certain share of their property |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070024.mp3
|
25 |
for the needy and the deprived, |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070025.mp3
|
26 |
who acknowledge the Day of Judgment, |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070026.mp3
|
27 |
who are afraid of the torment of their Lord, |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070027.mp3
|
28 |
the punishment of their Lord is not something for them to feel secure of, |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070028.mp3
|
29 |
who guard their carnal desires |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070029.mp3
|
30 |
except from their wives and slave girls, in which case they are not to be blamed, |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070030.mp3
|
31 |
but whoever goes beyond this is a transgressor; |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070031.mp3
|
32 |
who honor their trust and promises, |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070032.mp3
|
33 |
who testify to what they have witnessed, |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070033.mp3
|
34 |
and (finally) those who do not miss their ritual - prayers at the prescribed times; |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070034.mp3
|
35 |
such people will receive due honor in Paradise. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070035.mp3
|
36 |
What is wrong with the disbelievers who roam around you (Muhammad), |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070036.mp3
|
37 |
left and right, in numerous groups? |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070037.mp3
|
38 |
Does every one of them desire to enter the bountiful Paradise? |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070038.mp3
|
39 |
By no means! For they know very well out of what We have created them (The human being's naturally growing from a living germ, without discipline and good deeds will not result in virtue). |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070039.mp3
|
40 |
I do not need to swear by the Lord of the eastern and western regions that We have certainly all the power |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070040.mp3
|
41 |
to replace them by a better people and none can challenge Our power. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070041.mp3
|
42 |
(Muhammad), leave them alone to dispute and play until they face the Day with which they have been threatened: |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070042.mp3
|
43 |
the Day when they rush out of their graves as if racing towards a signpost, |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070043.mp3
|
44 |
with their eyes cast down and covered by disgrace; the day about which they were promised. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/070044.mp3
|
