# Translation Ayah
1 When the sky is rent apart, إِذَا السَّمَاء انفَطَرَتْ
2 when the stars are scattered, وَإِذَا الْكَوَاكِبُ انتَثَرَتْ
3 when the seas are merged, وَإِذَا الْبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتْ
4 when the graves are overturned, وَإِذَا الْقُبُورُ بُعْثِرَتْ
5 then a soul shall know what it has sent ahead and left behind. عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَّا قَدَّمَتْ وَأَخَّرَتْ
6 O man! What has deceived you about your generous Lord, يَا أَيُّهَا الْإِنسَانُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ الْكَرِيمِ
7 who created you and proportioned you, and gave you an upright nature, الَّذِي خَلَقَكَ فَسَوَّاكَ فَعَدَلَكَ
8 and composed you in any form that He wished? فِي أَيِّ صُورَةٍ مَّا شَاء رَكَّبَكَ
9 No! Indeed, you deny the Retribution. كَلَّا بَلْ تُكَذِّبُونَ بِالدِّينِ
10 Indeed, there are over you watchers, وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكُمْ لَحَافِظِينَ
11 noble writers, كِرَامًا كَاتِبِينَ
12 who know whatever you do. يَعْلَمُونَ مَا تَفْعَلُونَ
13 Indeed the pious shall be amid bliss, إِنَّ الْأَبْرَارَ لَفِي نَعِيمٍ
14 and indeed the vicious shall be in hell, وَإِنَّ الْفُجَّارَ لَفِي جَحِيمٍ
15 entering it on the Day of Retribution, يَصْلَوْنَهَا يَوْمَ الدِّينِ
16 and they shall not be absent from it. وَمَا هُمْ عَنْهَا بِغَائِبِينَ
17 And what will show you what is the Day of Retribution? وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ
18 Again, what will show you what is the Day of Retribution? ثُمَّ مَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ
19 It is a day when no soul will be of any avail to another soul and all command that day will belong to Allah. يَوْمَ لَا تَمْلِكُ نَفْسٌ لِّنَفْسٍ شَيْئًا وَالْأَمْرُ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلَّهِ
