1 |
The Hour has drawn near and the moon is split. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054001.mp3
|
2 |
If they see a sign, they turn away, and say, ‘An incessant magic!’ |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054002.mp3
|
3 |
They denied and followed their own desires, and every matter has a setting [appropriate to it]. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054003.mp3
|
4 |
There have already come to them reports containing admonishment, |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054004.mp3
|
5 |
[and representing] far-reaching wisdom; but warnings are of no avail! |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054005.mp3
|
6 |
So turn away from them! The day when the Caller calls to a dire thing, |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054006.mp3
|
7 |
they will emerge from the graves as if they were scattered locusts with a humbled look [in their eyes], |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054007.mp3
|
8 |
scrambling toward the summoner. The faithless will say, ‘This is a hard day!’ |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054008.mp3
|
9 |
The people of Noah impugned before them. So they impugned Our servant and said, ‘A crazy man,’ and he was reviled. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054009.mp3
|
10 |
Thereat he invoked his Lord, [saying,] ‘I have been overcome, so help [me].’ |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054010.mp3
|
11 |
Then We opened the gates of the sky with pouring waters, |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054011.mp3
|
12 |
and We made the earth burst forth with springs, and the waters met for a preordained purpose. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054012.mp3
|
13 |
We bore him on a vessel made of planks and nails, |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054013.mp3
|
14 |
which sailed [over the flood waters] in Our sight, as a retribution for him who was met with disbelief. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054014.mp3
|
15 |
Certainly We have left it as a sign; so is there anyone who will be admonished? |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054015.mp3
|
16 |
So how were My punishment and warnings? |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054016.mp3
|
17 |
Certainly We have made the Quran simple for the sake of admonishment. So is there anyone who will be admonished? |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054017.mp3
|
18 |
[The people of] ‘Ad impugned [their apostle]. So how were My punishment and warnings? |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054018.mp3
|
19 |
Indeed We unleashed upon them an icy gale on an incessantly ill-fated day, |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054019.mp3
|
20 |
knocking down people as if they were trunks of uprooted palm trees. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054020.mp3
|
21 |
So how were My punishment and warnings?! |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054021.mp3
|
22 |
Certainly We have made the Quran simple for the sake of admonishment. So is there anyone who will be admonished? |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054022.mp3
|
23 |
[The people of] Thamud denied the warnings, |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054023.mp3
|
24 |
and they said, ‘Are we to follow a lone human from ourselves?! Indeed then we would be in error and madness.’ |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054024.mp3
|
25 |
‘Has the Reminder been cast upon him from among us? No, he is a self-conceited liar.’ |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054025.mp3
|
26 |
‘Tomorrow they will know who is a self-conceited liar. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054026.mp3
|
27 |
We are sending the She-camel as a trial for them; so watch them and be steadfast. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054027.mp3
|
28 |
Inform them that the water is to be shared between them; each of them showing up at his turn.’ |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054028.mp3
|
29 |
But they called their companion, and he took [a knife] and hamstrung [her]. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054029.mp3
|
30 |
So how were My punishment and My warnings?! |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054030.mp3
|
31 |
We sent against them a single Cry, and they became like the dry sticks of a corral builder. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054031.mp3
|
32 |
Certainly We have made the Quran simple for the sake of admonishment. So is there anyone who will be admonished? |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054032.mp3
|
33 |
And the people of Lot denied the warnings. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054033.mp3
|
34 |
We unleashed upon them a rain of stones, excepting the family of Lot, whom We delivered at dawn |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054034.mp3
|
35 |
as a blessing from Us. Thus do We reward those who give thanks. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054035.mp3
|
36 |
He had already warned them of Our punishment, but they disputed the warnings. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054036.mp3
|
37 |
They even solicited of him his guests, whereat We blotted out their eyes, [saying,] ‘Taste My punishment and My warnings!’ |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054037.mp3
|
38 |
Early at dawn there visited them an abiding punishment: |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054038.mp3
|
39 |
‘Taste My punishment and warnings!’ |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054039.mp3
|
40 |
Certainly We have made the Quran simple for the sake of admonishment. So is there anyone who will be admonished? |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054040.mp3
|
41 |
Certainly the warnings did come to Pharaoh’s clan |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054041.mp3
|
42 |
who denied all of Our signs. So We seized them with the seizing of One [who is] all-mighty, Omnipotent. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054042.mp3
|
43 |
Are your faithless better than those? Have you [been granted] [some sort of] immunity in the scriptures? |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054043.mp3
|
44 |
Do they say, ‘We are a confederate league’? |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054044.mp3
|
45 |
The league will be routed and turn its back [to flee]. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054045.mp3
|
46 |
Indeed, the Hour is their tryst; and the Hour will be most calamitous and bitter. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054046.mp3
|
47 |
Indeed the guilty are steeped in error and madness. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054047.mp3
|
48 |
The day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire, [it will be said to them,] ‘Taste the touch of hell!’ |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054048.mp3
|
49 |
Indeed We have created everything in a measure, |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054049.mp3
|
50 |
and Our command is but a single [word], like the twinkling of an eye. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054050.mp3
|
51 |
Certainly We have destroyed your likes. So is there anyone who will be admonished? |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054051.mp3
|
52 |
Everything they have done is in the books, |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054052.mp3
|
53 |
and everything big and small is committed to writing. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054053.mp3
|
54 |
Indeed the Godwary will be amid gardens and streams, |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054054.mp3
|
55 |
in the abode of truthfulness with an omnipotent King. |
/content/ayah/audio/hudhaify/054055.mp3
|
