# Translation Ayah
1 Perish the hands of Abu Lahab, and perish he! تَبَّتْ يَدَا أَبِي لَهَبٍ وَتَبَّ
2 Neither his wealth availed him, nor what he had earned. مَا أَغْنَى عَنْهُ مَالُهُ وَمَا كَسَبَ
3 Soon he will enter the blazing fire, سَيَصْلَى نَارًا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍ
4 and his wife [too], the firewood carrier, وَامْرَأَتُهُ حَمَّالَةَ الْحَطَبِ
5 with a rope of palm fibre around her neck. فِي جِيدِهَا حَبْلٌ مِّن مَّسَدٍ
