# Translation Ayah
1 By the snorting chargers, وَالْعَادِيَاتِ ضَبْحًا
2 by the strikers of sparks [with their hoofs], فَالْمُورِيَاتِ قَدْحًا
3 by the raiders at dawn, فَالْمُغِيرَاتِ صُبْحًا
4 raising therein a trail of dust, فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِ نَقْعًا
5 and cleaving therein a host! فَوَسَطْنَ بِهِ جَمْعًا
6 Indeed man is ungrateful to his Lord, إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ لِرَبِّهِ لَكَنُودٌ
7 and indeed he is [himself] witness to that! وَإِنَّهُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌ
8 And indeed he is an avid lover of wealth. وَإِنَّهُ لِحُبِّ الْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ
9 Does he not know, when what is [buried] in the graves is turned over, أَفَلَا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِي الْقُبُورِ
10 and what is [concealed] in the breasts is divulged, وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِي الصُّدُورِ
11 on that day their Lord will be well informed about them [and their deeds]? إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَّخَبِيرٌ
