# Translation Ayah
1 Al-Qari`ah. الْقَارِعَةُ
2 What is Al-Qari`ah مَا الْقَارِعَةُ
3 And what will make you know what Al-Qari`ah is وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْقَارِعَةُ
4 It is a Day whereon mankind will be like moths scattered about. يَوْمَ يَكُونُ النَّاسُ كَالْفَرَاشِ الْمَبْثُوثِ
5 And the mountains will be like wool, carded. وَتَكُونُ الْجِبَالُ كَالْعِهْنِ الْمَنفُوشِ
6 Then as for him whose Balance will be heavy, فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَازِينُهُ
7 He will live a pleasant life. فَهُوَ فِي عِيشَةٍ رَّاضِيَةٍ
8 But as for him whose Balance will be light, وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَازِينُهُ
9 His mother will be Hawiyah. فَأُمُّهُ هَاوِيَةٌ
10 And what will make you know what it is وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا هِيَهْ
11 A fire Hamiyah! نَارٌ حَامِيَةٌ
