# Translation Ayah
1 Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى
2 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; الَّذِي خَلَقَ فَسَوَّى
3 Who determined and guided them, وَالَّذِي قَدَّرَ فَهَدَى
4 Who brought forth the pasture, وَالَّذِي أَخْرَجَ الْمَرْعَى
5 and then made it into a blackish straw. فَجَعَلَهُ غُثَاء أَحْوَى
6 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, سَنُقْرِؤُكَ فَلَا تَنسَى
7 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. إِلَّا مَا شَاء اللَّهُ إِنَّهُ يَعْلَمُ الْجَهْرَ وَمَا يَخْفَى
8 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلْيُسْرَى
9 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. فَذَكِّرْ إِن نَّفَعَتِ الذِّكْرَى
10 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَن يَخْشَى
11 but the wretched will turn away from it. وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا الْأَشْقَى
12 He will be cast into the Great Fire. الَّذِي يَصْلَى النَّارَ الْكُبْرَى
13 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحْيَى
14 He who purified himself shall prosper, قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن تَزَكَّى
15 remembering his Lord's name and praying. وَذَكَرَ اسْمَ رَبِّهِ فَصَلَّى
16 No; but you prefer the present life, بَلْ تُؤْثِرُونَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا
17 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. وَالْآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَى
18 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, إِنَّ هَذَا لَفِي الصُّحُفِ الْأُولَى
19 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. صُحُفِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَمُوسَى
