# Translation Ayah
1 Have you not seen how your Lord dealt with the people of the elephants? أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصْحَابِ الْفِيلِ
2 Did He not bring their plan to naught? أَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ كَيْدَهُمْ فِي تَضْلِيلٍ
3 And He sent against them swarms of birds وَأَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَيْرًا أَبَابِيلَ
4 which smote them with stones of baked clay, تَرْمِيهِم بِحِجَارَةٍ مِّن سِجِّيلٍ
5 and made them like straw eaten up (by cattle). فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْفٍ مَّأْكُولٍ
