# Translation Ayah
1 The Calamity! الْقَارِعَةُ
2 What is the Calamity? مَا الْقَارِعَةُ
3 And what do you know what the Calamity is? وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْقَارِعَةُ
4 On that Day human beings shall be like scattered moths, يَوْمَ يَكُونُ النَّاسُ كَالْفَرَاشِ الْمَبْثُوثِ
5 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. وَتَكُونُ الْجِبَالُ كَالْعِهْنِ الْمَنفُوشِ
6 Then he whose scales weigh heavier فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَازِينُهُ
7 shall have a blissful life; فَهُوَ فِي عِيشَةٍ رَّاضِيَةٍ
8 but he whose scales weigh lighter, وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَازِينُهُ
9 his shall be the deep pit for a dwelling. فَأُمُّهُ هَاوِيَةٌ
10 And what do you know what that is? وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا هِيَهْ
11 A Blazing Fire! نَارٌ حَامِيَةٌ
