# Translation Ayah
1 By the heaven and the night-comer وَالسَّمَاء وَالطَّارِقِ
2 And what shall make thee know that which the night-comer is?- وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الطَّارِقُ
3 It is the star shing brightly. النَّجْمُ الثَّاقِبُ
4 No soul is there but hath over it a watcher. إِن كُلُّ نَفْسٍ لَّمَّا عَلَيْهَا حَافِظٌ
5 So let man look - from what is he created. فَلْيَنظُرِ الْإِنسَانُ مِمَّ خُلِقَ
6 He is created from a water drip-ping, خُلِقَ مِن مَّاء دَافِقٍ
7 That issueth from between the loins and the breast-bones. يَخْرُجُ مِن بَيْنِ الصُّلْبِ وَالتَّرَائِبِ
8 Verily He is Able to restore him, إِنَّهُ عَلَى رَجْعِهِ لَقَادِرٌ
9 On a Day whereon secrets shall be out. يَوْمَ تُبْلَى السَّرَائِرُ
10 Then he shall have no power nor any helper. فَمَا لَهُ مِن قُوَّةٍ وَلَا نَاصِرٍ
11 By the heaven which returneth, وَالسَّمَاء ذَاتِ الرَّجْعِ
12 And by the earth which splitteth, وَالْأَرْضِ ذَاتِ الصَّدْعِ
13 Verily, it is a discourse distinguishing. إِنَّهُ لَقَوْلٌ فَصْلٌ
14 And it is not a frivolity. وَمَا هُوَ بِالْهَزْلِ
15 Verily they are plotting a plot. إِنَّهُمْ يَكِيدُونَ كَيْدًا
16 And I am plotting a plot. وَأَكِيدُ كَيْدًا
17 So respite thou the infidels - respite them gently, فَمَهِّلِ الْكَافِرِينَ أَمْهِلْهُمْ رُوَيْدًا
