# Translation Ayah
1 When the heaven shall be cleft, إِذَا السَّمَاء انفَطَرَتْ
2 And when the stars shall be scattered, وَإِذَا الْكَوَاكِبُ انتَثَرَتْ
3 And when the seas are flowed out, وَإِذَا الْبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتْ
4 And when the graves are ransacked, وَإِذَا الْقُبُورُ بُعْثِرَتْ
5 Each soul shall know that which it sent afore and that which it left behind. عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَّا قَدَّمَتْ وَأَخَّرَتْ
6 O man! what hath beguiled thee concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, يَا أَيُّهَا الْإِنسَانُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ الْكَرِيمِ
7 Who created thee, then moulded thee, then proportioned thee? الَّذِي خَلَقَكَ فَسَوَّاكَ فَعَدَلَكَ
8 In whatsoever form He listed He constructed thee. فِي أَيِّ صُورَةٍ مَّا شَاء رَكَّبَكَ
9 By no means! Aye, ye belie the the Requital. كَلَّا بَلْ تُكَذِّبُونَ بِالدِّينِ
10 Verify there are for you guardians, وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكُمْ لَحَافِظِينَ
11 Honourablel scribes. كِرَامًا كَاتِبِينَ
12 They know whatsoever ye do. يَعْلَمُونَ مَا تَفْعَلُونَ
13 Verily the pious shall be in Delight. إِنَّ الْأَبْرَارَ لَفِي نَعِيمٍ
14 And verily the ungodly shall be in a Scorch. وَإِنَّ الْفُجَّارَ لَفِي جَحِيمٍ
15 Roasted they shall be therein on the Day of Requital. يَصْلَوْنَهَا يَوْمَ الدِّينِ
16 And thence they shall not be allowed to be absent. وَمَا هُمْ عَنْهَا بِغَائِبِينَ
17 And what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ
18 Again, what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? ثُمَّ مَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ
19 It is a Day whereon no soul shall own aught of power for any soul; and the command on that Day will be Allah's. يَوْمَ لَا تَمْلِكُ نَفْسٌ لِّنَفْسٍ شَيْئًا وَالْأَمْرُ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلَّهِ
