# Translation Ayah
1 By the rangers ranging وَالصَّافَّاتِ صَفًّا
2 and the scarers scaring فَالزَّاجِرَاتِ زَجْرًا
3 and the reciters of a Remembrance, فَالتَّالِيَاتِ ذِكْرًا
4 surely your God is One, إِنَّ إِلَهَكُمْ لَوَاحِدٌ
5 Lord of the heavens and the earth, and of what between them is Lord of the Easts. رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَرَبُّ الْمَشَارِقِ
6 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the stars إِنَّا زَيَّنَّا السَّمَاء الدُّنْيَا بِزِينَةٍ الْكَوَاكِبِ
7 and to preserve against every rebel Satan; وَحِفْظًا مِّن كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ مَّارِدٍ
8 they listen not to the High Council, for they are pelted from every side, لَا يَسَّمَّعُونَ إِلَى الْمَلَإِ الْأَعْلَى وَيُقْذَفُونَ مِن كُلِّ جَانِبٍ
9 rejected, and theirs is an everlasting chastisement, دُحُورًا وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ وَاصِبٌ
10 except such as snatches a fragment, and he is pursued by a piercing flame. إِلَّا مَنْ خَطِفَ الْخَطْفَةَ فَأَتْبَعَهُ شِهَابٌ ثَاقِبٌ
11 So ask them for a pronouncement -- Are they stronger in constitution, or those We created? We created them of clinging clay. فَاسْتَفْتِهِمْ أَهُمْ أَشَدُّ خَلْقًا أَم مَّنْ خَلَقْنَا إِنَّا خَلَقْنَاهُم مِّن طِينٍ لَّازِبٍ
12 Nay, thou marvellest; and they scoff بَلْ عَجِبْتَ وَيَسْخَرُونَ
13 and, when reminded, do not remember وَإِذَا ذُكِّرُوا لَا يَذْكُرُونَ
14 and, when they see a sign, would scoff; وَإِذَا رَأَوْا آيَةً يَسْتَسْخِرُونَ
15 and they say, 'This is nothing but manifest sorcery. وَقَالُوا إِنْ هَذَا إِلَّا سِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ
16 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we indeed be raised up? أَئِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا وَعِظَامًا أَئِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ
17 What, and our fathers, the ancients?' أَوَآبَاؤُنَا الْأَوَّلُونَ
18 Say: 'Yes, and in all lowliness.' قُلْ نَعَمْ وَأَنتُمْ دَاخِرُونَ
19 For it is only a single scaring, then behold, they are watching فَإِنَّمَا هِيَ زَجْرَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ فَإِذَا هُمْ يَنظُرُونَ
20 and they say, 'Woe, alas for us! This is the Day of Doom.' وَقَالُوا يَا وَيْلَنَا هَذَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ
21 'This is the Day of Decision, even that you cried lies to. هَذَا يَوْمُ الْفَصْلِ الَّذِي كُنتُمْ بِهِ تُكَذِّبُونَ
22 Muster those who did evil, their wives, and that they were serving, احْشُرُوا الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا وَأَزْوَاجَهُمْ وَمَا كَانُوا يَعْبُدُونَ
23 apart from God, and guide them unto the path of Hell! مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ فَاهْدُوهُمْ إِلَى صِرَاطِ الْجَحِيمِ
24 And halt them, to be questioned: وَقِفُوهُمْ إِنَّهُم مَّسْئُولُونَ
25 "Why help you not one another?" مَا لَكُمْ لَا تَنَاصَرُونَ
26 No indeed; but today they resign themselves in submission بَلْ هُمُ الْيَوْمَ مُسْتَسْلِمُونَ
27 and advance one upon another, asking each other questions. وَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ يَتَسَاءلُونَ
28 These say, 'Why, you of old would come to us from the right hand.' قَالُوا إِنَّكُمْ كُنتُمْ تَأْتُونَنَا عَنِ الْيَمِينِ
29 Those say, 'No; on the contrary, you were not believers; قَالُوا بَل لَّمْ تَكُونُوا مُؤْمِنِينَ
30 we had no authority over you; no, you were an insolent people. وَمَا كَانَ لَنَا عَلَيْكُم مِّن سُلْطَانٍ بَلْ كُنتُمْ قَوْمًا طَاغِينَ
31 So our Lord's Word is realised against us; we are tasting it. فَحَقَّ عَلَيْنَا قَوْلُ رَبِّنَا إِنَّا لَذَائِقُونَ
32 Therefore we perverted you, and we ourselves were perverts.' فَأَغْوَيْنَاكُمْ إِنَّا كُنَّا غَاوِينَ
33 So all of them on that day are sharers in the chastisement. فَإِنَّهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ فِي الْعَذَابِ مُشْتَرِكُونَ
34 Even so We do with the sinners; إِنَّا كَذَلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِالْمُجْرِمِينَ
35 for when it was said to them, 'There is no god but God,' they were ever waxing proud, إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا إِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ
36 saying, 'What, shall we forsake our gods for a poet possessed?' وَيَقُولُونَ أَئِنَّا لَتَارِكُوا آلِهَتِنَا لِشَاعِرٍ مَّجْنُونٍ
37 'No indeed; but he brought the truth, and confirmed the Envoys. بَلْ جَاء بِالْحَقِّ وَصَدَّقَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
38 Now certainly you shall be tasting the painful chastisement, إِنَّكُمْ لَذَائِقُو الْعَذَابِ الْأَلِيمِ
39 and not be recompensed, except according to what you were doing.' وَمَا تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
40 Except for God's sincere servants; إِلَّا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ الْمُخْلَصِينَ
41 for them awaits a known provision, أُوْلَئِكَ لَهُمْ رِزْقٌ مَّعْلُومٌ
42 fruits -- and they high-honoured فَوَاكِهُ وَهُم مُّكْرَمُونَ
43 in the Gardens of Bliss فِي جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ
44 upon couches, set face to face, عَلَى سُرُرٍ مُّتَقَابِلِينَ
45 a cup from a spring being passed round to them, يُطَافُ عَلَيْهِم بِكَأْسٍ مِن مَّعِينٍ
46 white, a delight to the drinkers, بَيْضَاء لَذَّةٍ لِّلشَّارِبِينَ
47 wherein no sickness is, neither intoxication; لَا فِيهَا غَوْلٌ وَلَا هُمْ عَنْهَا يُنزَفُونَ
48 and with them wide-eyed maidens restraining their glances وَعِنْدَهُمْ قَاصِرَاتُ الطَّرْفِ عِينٌ
49 as if they were hidden pearls. كَأَنَّهُنَّ بَيْضٌ مَّكْنُونٌ
50 They advance one upon another, asking each other questions. فَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ يَتَسَاءلُونَ
51 One of them says, 'I had a comrade قَالَ قَائِلٌ مِّنْهُمْ إِنِّي كَانَ لِي قَرِينٌ
52 who would say, "Are you a confirmer? يَقُولُ أَئِنَّكَ لَمِنْ الْمُصَدِّقِينَ
53 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we indeed be requited?" أَئِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا وَعِظَامًا أَئِنَّا لَمَدِينُونَ
54 He says, 'Are you looking down?' قَالَ هَلْ أَنتُم مُّطَّلِعُونَ
55 Then he looks, and sees him in the midst of Hell. فَاطَّلَعَ فَرَآهُ فِي سَوَاء الْجَحِيمِ
56 He says, 'By God, wellnigh thou didst destroy me; قَالَ تَاللَّهِ إِنْ كِدتَّ لَتُرْدِينِ
57 But for my Lord's blessing, I were one of the arraigned. وَلَوْلَا نِعْمَةُ رَبِّي لَكُنتُ مِنَ الْمُحْضَرِينَ
58 What, do we then not die أَفَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَيِّتِينَ
59 except for our first death, and are we not chastised? إِلَّا مَوْتَتَنَا الْأُولَى وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ
60 This is indeed the mighty triumph, إِنَّ هَذَا لَهُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ
61 for the like of this let the workers work.' لِمِثْلِ هَذَا فَلْيَعْمَلْ الْعَامِلُونَ
62 Is that better as a hospitality, or the Tree of Ez-Zakkoum? أَذَلِكَ خَيْرٌ نُّزُلًا أَمْ شَجَرَةُ الزَّقُّومِ
63 We have appointed it as a trial for the evildoers. إِنَّا جَعَلْنَاهَا فِتْنَةً لِّلظَّالِمِينَ
64 It is a tree that comes forth in the root of Hell; إِنَّهَا شَجَرَةٌ تَخْرُجُ فِي أَصْلِ الْجَحِيمِ
65 its spathes are as the heads of Satans, طَلْعُهَا كَأَنَّهُ رُؤُوسُ الشَّيَاطِينِ
66 and they eat of it, and of it fill their bellies, فَإِنَّهُمْ لَآكِلُونَ مِنْهَا فَمَالِؤُونَ مِنْهَا الْبُطُونَ
67 then on top of it they have a brew of boiling water, ثُمَّ إِنَّ لَهُمْ عَلَيْهَا لَشَوْبًا مِّنْ حَمِيمٍ
68 then their return is unto Hell. ثُمَّ إِنَّ مَرْجِعَهُمْ لَإِلَى الْجَحِيمِ
69 They found their fathers erring, إِنَّهُمْ أَلْفَوْا آبَاءهُمْ ضَالِّينَ
70 and they run in their footsteps. فَهُمْ عَلَى آثَارِهِمْ يُهْرَعُونَ
71 Before them erred most of the ancients, وَلَقَدْ ضَلَّ قَبْلَهُمْ أَكْثَرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ
72 and We sent among them warners; وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا فِيهِم مُّنذِرِينَ
73 and behold, how was the end of them that were warned, فَانظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُنذَرِينَ
74 except for God's sincere servants. إِلَّا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ الْمُخْلَصِينَ
75 Noah called to Us; and how excellent were the Answerers! وَلَقَدْ نَادَانَا نُوحٌ فَلَنِعْمَ الْمُجِيبُونَ
76 And We delivered him and his people from the great distress, وَنَجَّيْنَاهُ وَأَهْلَهُ مِنَ الْكَرْبِ الْعَظِيمِ
77 and We made his seed the survivors, وَجَعَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُ هُمْ الْبَاقِينَ
78 and left for him among the later folk وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِي الْآخِرِينَ
79 'Peace be upon Noah among all beings!' سَلَامٌ عَلَى نُوحٍ فِي الْعَالَمِينَ
80 Even so We recompense the good-doers; إِنَّا كَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ
81 he was among Our believing servants. إِنَّهُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
82 Then afterwards We drowned the rest. ثُمَّ أَغْرَقْنَا الْآخَرِينَ
83 Of his party was also Abraham; وَإِنَّ مِن شِيعَتِهِ لَإِبْرَاهِيمَ
84 when he came unto his Lord with a pure heart, إِذْ جَاء رَبَّهُ بِقَلْبٍ سَلِيمٍ
85 when he said to his father and his folk, 'What do you serve? إِذْ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوْمِهِ مَاذَا تَعْبُدُونَ
86 Is it a calumny, gods apart from God, that you desire? أَئِفْكًا آلِهَةً دُونَ اللَّهِ تُرِيدُونَ
87 What think you then of the Lord of all Being?' فَمَا ظَنُّكُم بِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
88 And he cast a glance at the stars, فَنَظَرَ نَظْرَةً فِي النُّجُومِ
89 and he said, 'Surely I am sick.' فَقَالَ إِنِّي سَقِيمٌ
90 But they went away from him, turning their backs. فَتَوَلَّوْا عَنْهُ مُدْبِرِينَ
91 Then he turned to their gods, and said, 'What do you eat? فَرَاغَ إِلَى آلِهَتِهِمْ فَقَالَ أَلَا تَأْكُلُونَ
92 What ails you, that you speak not?' مَا لَكُمْ لَا تَنطِقُونَ
93 And he turned upon them smiting them with his right hand. فَرَاغَ عَلَيْهِمْ ضَرْبًا بِالْيَمِينِ
94 Then came the others to him hastening. فَأَقْبَلُوا إِلَيْهِ يَزِفُّونَ
95 He said, 'Do you serve what you hew, قَالَ أَتَعْبُدُونَ مَا تَنْحِتُونَ
96 and God created you and what you make?' وَاللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمْ وَمَا تَعْمَلُونَ
97 They said, 'Build him a building, and cast him into the furnace!' قَالُوا ابْنُوا لَهُ بُنْيَانًا فَأَلْقُوهُ فِي الْجَحِيمِ
98 They desired to outwit him; so We made them the lower ones. فَأَرَادُوا بِهِ كَيْدًا فَجَعَلْنَاهُمُ الْأَسْفَلِينَ
99 He said, 'I am going to my Lord; He will guide me. وَقَالَ إِنِّي ذَاهِبٌ إِلَى رَبِّي سَيَهْدِينِ
100 My Lord, give me one of the righteous.' رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ
101 Then We gave him the good tidings of a prudent boy; فَبَشَّرْنَاهُ بِغُلَامٍ حَلِيمٍ
102 and when he had reached the age of running with him, he said, 'My son, I see in a dream that I shall sacrifice thee; consider, what thinkest thou?' He said, 'My father, do as thou art bidden; thou shalt find me, God willing, one of the steadfast.' فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ مَعَهُ السَّعْيَ قَالَ يَا بُنَيَّ إِنِّي أَرَى فِي الْمَنَامِ أَنِّي أَذْبَحُكَ فَانظُرْ مَاذَا تَرَى قَالَ يَا أَبَتِ افْعَلْ مَا تُؤْمَرُ سَتَجِدُنِي إِن شَاء اللَّهُ مِنَ الصَّابِرِينَ
103 When they had surrendered, and he flung him upon his brow, فَلَمَّا أَسْلَمَا وَتَلَّهُ لِلْجَبِينِ
104 We called unto him, 'Abraham, وَنَادَيْنَاهُ أَنْ يَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ
105 thou hast confirmed the vision; even so We recompense the good-doers. قَدْ صَدَّقْتَ الرُّؤْيَا إِنَّا كَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ
106 This is indeed the manifest trial.' إِنَّ هَذَا لَهُوَ الْبَلَاء الْمُبِينُ
107 And We ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice, وَفَدَيْنَاهُ بِذِبْحٍ عَظِيمٍ
108 and left for him among the later folk وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِي الْآخِرِينَ
109 'Peace be upon Abraham!' سَلَامٌ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ
110 Even so We recompense the good-doers; كَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ
111 he was among Our believing servants. إِنَّهُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
112 Then We gave him the good tidings of Isaac, a Prophet, one of the righteous. وَبَشَّرْنَاهُ بِإِسْحَاقَ نَبِيًّا مِّنَ الصَّالِحِينَ
113 And We blessed him, and Isaac; and of their seed some are good-doers, and some manifest self-wrongers. وَبَارَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَى إِسْحَاقَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا مُحْسِنٌ وَظَالِمٌ لِّنَفْسِهِ مُبِينٌ
114 We also favoured Moses and Aaron, وَلَقَدْ مَنَنَّا عَلَى مُوسَى وَهَارُونَ
115 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. وَنَجَّيْنَاهُمَا وَقَوْمَهُمَا مِنَ الْكَرْبِ الْعَظِيمِ
116 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; وَنَصَرْنَاهُمْ فَكَانُوا هُمُ الْغَالِبِينَ
117 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, وَآتَيْنَاهُمَا الْكِتَابَ الْمُسْتَبِينَ
118 and guided them in the straight path, وَهَدَيْنَاهُمَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ
119 and left for them among the later folk وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِمَا فِي الْآخِرِينَ
120 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' سَلَامٌ عَلَى مُوسَى وَهَارُونَ
121 Even so We recompense the good-doers; إِنَّا كَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ
122 they were among Our believing servants. إِنَّهُمَا مِنْ عِبَادِنَا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
123 Elias too was one of the Envoys; وَإِنَّ إِلْيَاسَ لَمِنْ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
124 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ
125 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? أَتَدْعُونَ بَعْلًا وَتَذَرُونَ أَحْسَنَ الْخَالِقِينَ
126 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' وَاللَّهَ رَبَّكُمْ وَرَبَّ آبَائِكُمُ الْأَوَّلِينَ
127 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَإِنَّهُمْ لَمُحْضَرُونَ
128 except for God's sincere servants; إِلَّا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ الْمُخْلَصِينَ
129 and We left for him among the later folk وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِي الْآخِرِينَ
130 'Peace be upon Elias!' سَلَامٌ عَلَى إِلْ يَاسِينَ
131 Even so We recompense the good-doers; إِنَّا كَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ
132 he was among Our believing servants. إِنَّهُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
133 Lot too was one of the Envoys; وَإِنَّ لُوطًا لَّمِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
134 when We delivered him and his people all together, إِذْ نَجَّيْنَاهُ وَأَهْلَهُ أَجْمَعِينَ
135 save an old woman among those that tarried; إِلَّا عَجُوزًا فِي الْغَابِرِينَ
136 then We destroyed the others, ثُمَّ دَمَّرْنَا الْآخَرِينَ
137 and you pass by them in the morning وَإِنَّكُمْ لَتَمُرُّونَ عَلَيْهِم مُّصْبِحِينَ
138 and in the night; will you not understand? وَبِاللَّيْلِ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ
139 Jonah too was one of the Envoys; وَإِنَّ يُونُسَ لَمِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
140 when he ran away to the laden ship إِذْ أَبَقَ إِلَى الْفُلْكِ الْمَشْحُونِ
141 and cast lots, and was of the rebutted, فَسَاهَمَ فَكَانَ مِنْ الْمُدْحَضِينَ
142 then the whale swallowed him down, and he blameworthy. فَالْتَقَمَهُ الْحُوتُ وَهُوَ مُلِيمٌ
143 Now had he not been of those that glorify God, فَلَوْلَا أَنَّهُ كَانَ مِنْ الْمُسَبِّحِينَ
144 he would have tarried in its belly until the day they shall be raised; لَلَبِثَ فِي بَطْنِهِ إِلَى يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ
145 but We cast him upon the wilderness, and he was sick, فَنَبَذْنَاهُ بِالْعَرَاء وَهُوَ سَقِيمٌ
146 and We caused to grow over him a tree of gourds. وَأَنبَتْنَا عَلَيْهِ شَجَرَةً مِّن يَقْطِينٍ
147 Then We sent him unto a hundred thousand, or more, وَأَرْسَلْنَاهُ إِلَى مِئَةِ أَلْفٍ أَوْ يَزِيدُونَ
148 and they believed; so We gave them enjoyment for a while. فَآمَنُوا فَمَتَّعْنَاهُمْ إِلَى حِينٍ
149 So ask them for a pronouncement -- Has thy Lord daughters, and they sons? فَاسْتَفْتِهِمْ أَلِرَبِّكَ الْبَنَاتُ وَلَهُمُ الْبَنُونَ
150 Or did We create the angels females, while they were witnesses? أَمْ خَلَقْنَا الْمَلَائِكَةَ إِنَاثًا وَهُمْ شَاهِدُونَ
151 Is it not of their own calumny that they say, أَلَا إِنَّهُم مِّنْ إِفْكِهِمْ لَيَقُولُونَ
152 'God has begotten?' They are truly liars. وَلَدَ اللَّهُ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَكَاذِبُونَ
153 Has He chosen daughters above sons? أَصْطَفَى الْبَنَاتِ عَلَى الْبَنِينَ
154 What ails you then, how you judge? مَا لَكُمْ كَيْفَ تَحْكُمُونَ
155 What, and will you not remember? أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ
156 Or have you a clear authority? أَمْ لَكُمْ سُلْطَانٌ مُّبِينٌ
157 Bring your Book, if you speak truly! فَأْتُوا بِكِتَابِكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
158 They have set up a kinship between Him and the jinn; and the jinn know that they shall be arraigned. وَجَعَلُوا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْجِنَّةِ نَسَبًا وَلَقَدْ عَلِمَتِ الْجِنَّةُ إِنَّهُمْ لَمُحْضَرُونَ
159 Glory be to God above that they describe, سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ
160 except for God's sincere servants. إِلَّا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ الْمُخْلَصِينَ
161 But as for you, and that you serve, فَإِنَّكُمْ وَمَا تَعْبُدُونَ
162 you shall not tempt any against Him مَا أَنتُمْ عَلَيْهِ بِفَاتِنِينَ
163 except him who shall roast in Hell. إِلَّا مَنْ هُوَ صَالِ الْجَحِيمِ
164 None of us is there, but has a known station; وَمَا مِنَّا إِلَّا لَهُ مَقَامٌ مَّعْلُومٌ
165 we are the rangers, وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ الصَّافُّونَ
166 we are they that give glory. وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ الْمُسَبِّحُونَ
167 What though they would say, وَإِنْ كَانُوا لَيَقُولُونَ
168 'If only we had had a Reminder from the ancients, لَوْ أَنَّ عِندَنَا ذِكْرًا مِّنْ الْأَوَّلِينَ
169 then were we God's sincere servants.' لَكُنَّا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ الْمُخْلَصِينَ
170 But they disbelieved in it; soon they shall know! فَكَفَرُوا بِهِ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ
171 Already Our Word has preceded to Our servants, the Envoys; وَلَقَدْ سَبَقَتْ كَلِمَتُنَا لِعِبَادِنَا الْمُرْسَلِينَ
172 assuredly they shall be helped, إِنَّهُمْ لَهُمُ الْمَنصُورُونَ
173 and Our host -- they are the victors. وَإِنَّ جُندَنَا لَهُمُ الْغَالِبُونَ
174 So turn thou from them for a while, فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ حَتَّى حِينٍ
175 and see them; soon they shall see! وَأَبْصِرْهُمْ فَسَوْفَ يُبْصِرُونَ
176 What, do they seek to hasten Our chastisement? أَفَبِعَذَابِنَا يَسْتَعْجِلُونَ
177 When it lights in their courtyard, how evil will be the morning of them that are warned! فَإِذَا نَزَلَ بِسَاحَتِهِمْ فَسَاء صَبَاحُ الْمُنذَرِينَ
178 So turn thou from them for a while, وَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ حَتَّى حِينٍ
179 and see; soon they shall see! وَأَبْصِرْ فَسَوْفَ يُبْصِرُونَ
180 Glory be to thy Lord, the Lord of Glory, above that they describe! سُبْحَانَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ الْعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ
181 And peace be upon the Envoys; وَسَلَامٌ عَلَى الْمُرْسَلِينَ
182 and praise belongs to God, the Lord of all Being. وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
