# Translation Ayah
1 Woe unto every backbiter, slanderer, وَيْلٌ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُّمَزَةٍ
2 who has gathered riches and counted them over الَّذِي جَمَعَ مَالًا وَعَدَّدَهُ
3 thinking his riches have made him immortal! يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُ أَخْلَدَهُ
4 No indeed; he shall be thrust into the Crusher; كَلَّا لَيُنبَذَنَّ فِي الْحُطَمَةِ
5 and what shall teach thee what is the Crusher; وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْحُطَمَةُ
6 The Fire of God kindled نَارُ اللَّهِ الْمُوقَدَةُ
7 roaring over the hearts الَّتِي تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى الْأَفْئِدَةِ
8 covered down upon them, إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِم مُّؤْصَدَةٌ
9 in columns outstretched. فِي عَمَدٍ مُّمَدَّدَةٍ
