# Translation Ayah
1 Certainly the news of the calamity that will overwhelm has come to you! هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ
2 Many a face will be disgraced on that day. وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَاشِعَةٌ
3 Labouring, striving hard. عَامِلَةٌ نَّاصِبَةٌ
4 (Yet) Going into the blazing fire. تَصْلَى نَارًا حَامِيَةً
5 Made to drink water from the boiling hot spring. تُسْقَى مِنْ عَيْنٍ آنِيَةٍ
6 There is no food for them except thorns of fire. لَّيْسَ لَهُمْ طَعَامٌ إِلَّا مِن ضَرِيعٍ
7 Which neither give strength nor satisfy the hunger. لَا يُسْمِنُ وَلَا يُغْنِي مِن جُوعٍ
8 Many a face will be in serenity on that day. وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ نَّاعِمَةٌ
9 Rejoicing over their efforts. لِسَعْيِهَا رَاضِيَةٌ
10 In a high Garden. فِي جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٍ
11 In which they will not hear any lewd speech. لَّا تَسْمَعُ فِيهَا لَاغِيَةً
12 In it is a flowing spring. فِيهَا عَيْنٌ جَارِيَةٌ
13 In which are high thrones. فِيهَا سُرُرٌ مَّرْفُوعَةٌ
14 And chosen goblets. وَأَكْوَابٌ مَّوْضُوعَةٌ
15 And arranged carpets. وَنَمَارِقُ مَصْفُوفَةٌ
16 And linen spread out. وَزَرَابِيُّ مَبْثُوثَةٌ
17 So do they not see the camel – how it has been created? أَفَلَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَى الْإِبِلِ كَيْفَ خُلِقَتْ
18 And the heaven – how it has been raised? وَإِلَى السَّمَاء كَيْفَ رُفِعَتْ
19 And the mountains – how they have been established? وَإِلَى الْجِبَالِ كَيْفَ نُصِبَتْ
20 And the earth – how it has been spread out? وَإِلَى الْأَرْضِ كَيْفَ سُطِحَتْ
21 Therefore advise; indeed you are a proclaimer of advice. (The Holy Prophet is a Remembrance from Allah.) فَذَكِّرْ إِنَّمَا أَنتَ مُذَكِّرٌ
22 You are not at all a guardian over them. لَّسْتَ عَلَيْهِم بِمُصَيْطِرٍ
23 Except whoever turns away and disbelieves – إِلَّا مَن تَوَلَّى وَكَفَرَ
24 So Allah will mete out to him the greatest punishment. فَيُعَذِّبُهُ اللَّهُ الْعَذَابَ الْأَكْبَرَ
25 Indeed only towards Us is their return إِنَّ إِلَيْنَا إِيَابَهُمْ
26 Then indeed only upon Us is their reckoning. ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا حِسَابَهُمْ
