# Translation Ayah
1 THE AVARICE OF plenitude keeps you occupied أَلْهَاكُمُ التَّكَاثُرُ
2 Till you reach the grave. حَتَّى زُرْتُمُ الْمَقَابِرَ
3 But you will come to know soon; -- كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ
4 Indeed you will come to know soon. ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ
5 And yet if you knew with positive knowledge كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عِلْمَ الْيَقِينِ
6 You have indeed to behold Hell; لَتَرَوُنَّ الْجَحِيمَ
7 Then you will see it with the eye of certainty. ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ الْيَقِينِ
8 Then on that day you will surely be asked about the verity of pleasures. ثُمَّ لَتُسْأَلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ النَّعِيمِ
