# Translation Ayah
1 By the emissary winds, (sent) one after another وَالْمُرْسَلَاتِ عُرْفًا
2 By the raging hurricanes, فَالْعَاصِفَاتِ عَصْفًا
3 By those which cause earth´s vegetation to revive; وَالنَّاشِرَاتِ نَشْرًا
4 By those who winnow with a winnowing, فَالْفَارِقَاتِ فَرْقًا
5 By those who bring down the Reminder, فَالْمُلْقِيَاتِ ذِكْرًا
6 To excuse or to warn, عُذْرًا أَوْ نُذْرًا
7 Surely that which ye are promised will befall. إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَاقِعٌ
8 So when the stars are put out, فَإِذَا النُّجُومُ طُمِسَتْ
9 And when the sky is riven asunder, وَإِذَا السَّمَاء فُرِجَتْ
10 And when the mountains are blown away, وَإِذَا الْجِبَالُ نُسِفَتْ
11 And when the messengers are brought unto their time appointed - وَإِذَا الرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتْ
12 For what day is the time appointed? لِأَيِّ يَوْمٍ أُجِّلَتْ
13 For the Day of Decision. لِيَوْمِ الْفَصْلِ
14 And what will convey unto thee what the Day of Decision is! - وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الْفَصْلِ
15 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
16 Destroyed We not the former folk, أَلَمْ نُهْلِكِ الْأَوَّلِينَ
17 Then caused the latter folk to follow after? ثُمَّ نُتْبِعُهُمُ الْآخِرِينَ
18 Thus deal We ever with the guilty. كَذَلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِالْمُجْرِمِينَ
19 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
20 Did We not create you from a base fluid أَلَمْ نَخْلُقكُّم مِّن مَّاء مَّهِينٍ
21 Which We laid up in a safe abode فَجَعَلْنَاهُ فِي قَرَارٍ مَّكِينٍ
22 For a known term? إِلَى قَدَرٍ مَّعْلُومٍ
23 Thus We arranged. How excellent is Our arranging! فَقَدَرْنَا فَنِعْمَ الْقَادِرُونَ
24 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
25 Have We not made the earth a receptacle أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ الْأَرْضَ كِفَاتًا
26 Both for the living and the dead, أَحْيَاء وَأَمْوَاتًا
27 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا رَوَاسِيَ شَامِخَاتٍ وَأَسْقَيْنَاكُم مَّاء فُرَاتًا
28 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! وَيْلٌ يوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
29 (It will be said unto them:) Depart unto that (doom) which ye used to deny; انطَلِقُوا إِلَى مَا كُنتُم بِهِ تُكَذِّبُونَ
30 Depart unto the shadow falling threefold, انطَلِقُوا إِلَى ظِلٍّ ذِي ثَلَاثِ شُعَبٍ
31 (Which yet is) no relief nor shelter from the flame. لَا ظَلِيلٍ وَلَا يُغْنِي مِنَ اللَّهَبِ
32 Lo! it throweth up sparks like the castles, إِنَّهَا تَرْمِي بِشَرَرٍ كَالْقَصْرِ
33 (Or) as it might be camels of bright yellow hue. كَأَنَّهُ جِمَالَتٌ صُفْرٌ
34 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
35 This is a day wherein they speak not, هَذَا يَوْمُ لَا يَنطِقُونَ
36 Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses. وَلَا يُؤْذَنُ لَهُمْ فَيَعْتَذِرُونَ
37 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
38 This is the Day of Decision, We have brought you and the men of old together. هَذَا يَوْمُ الْفَصْلِ جَمَعْنَاكُمْ وَالْأَوَّلِينَ
39 If now ye have any wit, outwit Me. فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمْ كَيْدٌ فَكِيدُونِ
40 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
41 Lo! those who kept their duty are amid shade and fountains, إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ فِي ظِلَالٍ وَعُيُونٍ
42 And fruits such as they desire. وَفَوَاكِهَ مِمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ
43 (Unto them it is said:) Eat, drink and welcome, O ye blessed, in return for what ye did. كُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا هَنِيئًا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
44 Thus do We reward the good. إِنَّا كَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنينَ
45 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
46 Eat and take your ease (on earth) a little. Lo! ye are guilty. كُلُوا وَتَمَتَّعُوا قَلِيلًا إِنَّكُم مُّجْرِمُونَ
47 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
48 When it is said unto them: Bow down, they bow not down! وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ارْكَعُوا لَا يَرْكَعُونَ
49 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
50 In what statement, after this, will they believe? فَبِأَيِّ حَدِيثٍ بَعْدَهُ يُؤْمِنُونَ
