# Translation Ayah
1 The Calamity! الْقَارِعَةُ
2 What is the Calamity? مَا الْقَارِعَةُ
3 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Calamity is! وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْقَارِعَةُ
4 A day wherein mankind will be as thickly-scattered moths يَوْمَ يَكُونُ النَّاسُ كَالْفَرَاشِ الْمَبْثُوثِ
5 And the mountains will become as carded wool. وَتَكُونُ الْجِبَالُ كَالْعِهْنِ الْمَنفُوشِ
6 Then, as for him whose scales are heavy (with good works), فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَازِينُهُ
7 He will live a pleasant life. فَهُوَ فِي عِيشَةٍ رَّاضِيَةٍ
8 But as for him whose scales are light, وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَازِينُهُ
9 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, فَأُمُّهُ هَاوِيَةٌ
10 Ah, what will convey unto thee what she is! - وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا هِيَهْ
11 Raging Fire. نَارٌ حَامِيَةٌ
