# Translation Ayah
1 By those [angels] who range themselves in close ranks وَالصَّافَّاتِ صَفًّا
2 and those who drive away [the wicked] with reproof فَالزَّاجِرَاتِ زَجْرًا
3 and by the reciters of the Reminder: فَالتَّالِيَاتِ ذِكْرًا
4 your God is One, إِنَّ إِلَهَكُمْ لَوَاحِدٌ
5 Lord of the heavens and the earth and everything between them; Lord of the Easts. رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَرَبُّ الْمَشَارِقِ
6 We have adorned the lowest heaven with the beauty of the planets; إِنَّا زَيَّنَّا السَّمَاء الدُّنْيَا بِزِينَةٍ الْكَوَاكِبِ
7 and guarded it against all rebellious devils: وَحِفْظًا مِّن كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ مَّارِدٍ
8 they cannot overhear the Higher Assembly for they are pelted from every side, لَا يَسَّمَّعُونَ إِلَى الْمَلَإِ الْأَعْلَى وَيُقْذَفُونَ مِن كُلِّ جَانِبٍ
9 driven away, and will suffer eternal punishment. دُحُورًا وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ وَاصِبٌ
10 But if anyone does succeed in snatching a glimpse [of such knowledge], he shall be pursued by a piercing flame. إِلَّا مَنْ خَطِفَ الْخَطْفَةَ فَأَتْبَعَهُ شِهَابٌ ثَاقِبٌ
11 So, ask those who deny the truth if it was harder to create them than all the other things We have created? We created them from sticky clay. فَاسْتَفْتِهِمْ أَهُمْ أَشَدُّ خَلْقًا أَم مَّنْ خَلَقْنَا إِنَّا خَلَقْنَاهُم مِّن طِينٍ لَّازِبٍ
12 No wonder you are surprised as they laugh with scorn. بَلْ عَجِبْتَ وَيَسْخَرُونَ
13 When they are reminded, they do not pay heed, وَإِذَا ذُكِّرُوا لَا يَذْكُرُونَ
14 and whenever they see some sign, they ridicule it, وَإِذَا رَأَوْا آيَةً يَسْتَسْخِرُونَ
15 saying, "This is plain sorcery!" وَقَالُوا إِنْ هَذَا إِلَّا سِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ
16 "What! When we have died and become dust and bones, will we be brought back to life again, أَئِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا وَعِظَامًا أَئِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ
17 along with our forefathers?" أَوَآبَاؤُنَا الْأَوَّلُونَ
18 Say, "Yes indeed, and you will be brought low." قُلْ نَعَمْ وَأَنتُمْ دَاخِرُونَ
19 There will be but a single blast and then their eyes will open. فَإِنَّمَا هِيَ زَجْرَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ فَإِذَا هُمْ يَنظُرُونَ
20 They will say, "Woe to us! This is the Day of Reckoning." وَقَالُوا يَا وَيْلَنَا هَذَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ
21 [It will be said], "This is the Day of Judgement which you have been denying." هَذَا يَوْمُ الْفَصْلِ الَّذِي كُنتُمْ بِهِ تُكَذِّبُونَ
22 But We shall say, "Assemble those who did wrong together with their associates and what they worshipped احْشُرُوا الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا وَأَزْوَاجَهُمْ وَمَا كَانُوا يَعْبُدُونَ
23 besides God, and lead them to the path of the Fire; مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ فَاهْدُوهُمْ إِلَى صِرَاطِ الْجَحِيمِ
24 and stop them there for questioning: وَقِفُوهُمْ إِنَّهُم مَّسْئُولُونَ
25 'But what is the matter with you that you cannot help one another?,'" مَا لَكُمْ لَا تَنَاصَرُونَ
26 indeed, on that Day they will surrender themselves. بَلْ هُمُ الْيَوْمَ مُسْتَسْلِمُونَ
27 They will turn upon one another, and question one another. وَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ يَتَسَاءلُونَ
28 They will say, "You used to come at us from the right." قَالُوا إِنَّكُمْ كُنتُمْ تَأْتُونَنَا عَنِ الْيَمِينِ
29 They will say, "No! It was you who would not believe -- قَالُوا بَل لَّمْ تَكُونُوا مُؤْمِنِينَ
30 we had no power over you; but you yourselves were a rebellious people. وَمَا كَانَ لَنَا عَلَيْكُم مِّن سُلْطَانٍ بَلْ كُنتُمْ قَوْمًا طَاغِينَ
31 But now our Lord's word has come true against us: truly, we are bound to taste [the punishment]. فَحَقَّ عَلَيْنَا قَوْلُ رَبِّنَا إِنَّا لَذَائِقُونَ
32 We led you astray as we were ourselves astray." فَأَغْوَيْنَاكُمْ إِنَّا كُنَّا غَاوِينَ
33 On that Day they will all share the punishment: فَإِنَّهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ فِي الْعَذَابِ مُشْتَرِكُونَ
34 that is how We deal with evil-doers. إِنَّا كَذَلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِالْمُجْرِمِينَ
35 When they were told, "There is no deity but God," they turned away with disdain, إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا إِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ
36 and replied, "Shall we then give up our deities at the bidding of a mad poet?" وَيَقُولُونَ أَئِنَّا لَتَارِكُوا آلِهَتِنَا لِشَاعِرٍ مَّجْنُونٍ
37 "Surely, he has brought the truth, confirming those who were sent before; بَلْ جَاء بِالْحَقِّ وَصَدَّقَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
38 you shall surely taste the painful punishment, إِنَّكُمْ لَذَائِقُو الْعَذَابِ الْأَلِيمِ
39 and be rewarded only according to your deeds." وَمَا تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
40 But the chosen servants of God; إِلَّا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ الْمُخْلَصِينَ
41 shall have a known provision -- أُوْلَئِكَ لَهُمْ رِزْقٌ مَّعْلُومٌ
42 fruits of various kinds; and they shall be honoured, فَوَاكِهُ وَهُم مُّكْرَمُونَ
43 in the Gardens of Bliss, فِي جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ
44 seated on couches, facing one another. عَلَى سُرُرٍ مُّتَقَابِلِينَ
45 A drink will be passed round among them from a flowing spring: يُطَافُ عَلَيْهِم بِكَأْسٍ مِن مَّعِينٍ
46 white and delicious to those who drink it, بَيْضَاء لَذَّةٍ لِّلشَّارِبِينَ
47 causing no headiness or intoxication. لَا فِيهَا غَوْلٌ وَلَا هُمْ عَنْهَا يُنزَفُونَ
48 With them will be spouses, modest of gaze and beautiful of eye, وَعِنْدَهُمْ قَاصِرَاتُ الطَّرْفِ عِينٌ
49 like closely guarded pearls. كَأَنَّهُنَّ بَيْضٌ مَّكْنُونٌ
50 They will turn to one another with questions: فَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ يَتَسَاءلُونَ
51 one of them will say, "I had a friend, قَالَ قَائِلٌ مِّنْهُمْ إِنِّي كَانَ لِي قَرِينٌ
52 who used to ask, 'Do you really believe that يَقُولُ أَئِنَّكَ لَمِنْ الْمُصَدِّقِينَ
53 after we die and become dust and bones, we shall be brought to judgement?'" أَئِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا وَعِظَامًا أَئِنَّا لَمَدِينُونَ
54 Then he will say, "Shall we look for him?" قَالَ هَلْ أَنتُم مُّطَّلِعُونَ
55 Then he will look and see him in the midst of the Fire. فَاطَّلَعَ فَرَآهُ فِي سَوَاء الْجَحِيمِ
56 He will say, "By God! You almost brought me to ruin! قَالَ تَاللَّهِ إِنْ كِدتَّ لَتُرْدِينِ
57 If it had not been for the blessing of my Lord, I would also have been taken to Hell." وَلَوْلَا نِعْمَةُ رَبِّي لَكُنتُ مِنَ الْمُحْضَرِينَ
58 Then he will say [to his blessed companions], "Are we not going to die, أَفَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَيِّتِينَ
59 except for our first death? Are we not going to be punished? إِلَّا مَوْتَتَنَا الْأُولَى وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ
60 Truly, this is a great victory!" إِنَّ هَذَا لَهُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ
61 It is for the like of this that all should strive. لِمِثْلِ هَذَا فَلْيَعْمَلْ الْعَامِلُونَ
62 Is that better by way of hospitality or the Zaqqum tree, أَذَلِكَ خَيْرٌ نُّزُلًا أَمْ شَجَرَةُ الزَّقُّومِ
63 which We have made as a test for the wrongdoers. إِنَّا جَعَلْنَاهَا فِتْنَةً لِّلظَّالِمِينَ
64 For it is a tree that springs out of the bottom of Hellfire: إِنَّهَا شَجَرَةٌ تَخْرُجُ فِي أَصْلِ الْجَحِيمِ
65 and its fruits are like devils' heads. طَلْعُهَا كَأَنَّهُ رُؤُوسُ الشَّيَاطِينِ
66 They will eat from it and fill their bellies with it; فَإِنَّهُمْ لَآكِلُونَ مِنْهَا فَمَالِؤُونَ مِنْهَا الْبُطُونَ
67 then in addition to it they shall have a draught of boiling water to drink; ثُمَّ إِنَّ لَهُمْ عَلَيْهَا لَشَوْبًا مِّنْ حَمِيمٍ
68 then surely they shall return to Hell. ثُمَّ إِنَّ مَرْجِعَهُمْ لَإِلَى الْجَحِيمِ
69 They found their fathers had gone astray; إِنَّهُمْ أَلْفَوْا آبَاءهُمْ ضَالِّينَ
70 so they are rushing to follow in their footsteps. فَهُمْ عَلَى آثَارِهِمْ يُهْرَعُونَ
71 And assuredly many of the ancients went astray before them, وَلَقَدْ ضَلَّ قَبْلَهُمْ أَكْثَرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ
72 though We had sent warners among them. وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا فِيهِم مُّنذِرِينَ
73 See how those who were warned met their end! فَانظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُنذَرِينَ
74 Not so the chosen servants of God. إِلَّا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ الْمُخْلَصِينَ
75 Noah cried to Us, and how excellent was Our response! وَلَقَدْ نَادَانَا نُوحٌ فَلَنِعْمَ الْمُجِيبُونَ
76 We saved him and his people from great distress, وَنَجَّيْنَاهُ وَأَهْلَهُ مِنَ الْكَرْبِ الْعَظِيمِ
77 and We made his offspring the only survivors. وَجَعَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُ هُمْ الْبَاقِينَ
78 We left mention of him among later generations. وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِي الْآخِرِينَ
79 Peace be upon Noah among all the peoples! سَلَامٌ عَلَى نُوحٍ فِي الْعَالَمِينَ
80 That is how We recompense the righteous: إِنَّا كَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ
81 he was truly one of Our faithful servants. إِنَّهُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
82 We drowned the rest. ثُمَّ أَغْرَقْنَا الْآخَرِينَ
83 Abraham was of the same faith: وَإِنَّ مِن شِيعَتِهِ لَإِبْرَاهِيمَ
84 he came to his Lord with a sound heart. إِذْ جَاء رَبَّهُ بِقَلْبٍ سَلِيمٍ
85 "Behold!" he said to his father and to his people, "What are these that you worship? إِذْ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوْمِهِ مَاذَا تَعْبُدُونَ
86 Would you serve false deities instead of God? أَئِفْكًا آلِهَةً دُونَ اللَّهِ تُرِيدُونَ
87 What do you think of the Lord of the Worlds?" فَمَا ظَنُّكُم بِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
88 He looked up at the stars. فَنَظَرَ نَظْرَةً فِي النُّجُومِ
89 And said, "I am sick," فَقَالَ إِنِّي سَقِيمٌ
90 so they turned their backs on him and went off. فَتَوَلَّوْا عَنْهُ مُدْبِرِينَ
91 He turned to their gods and said, "Do you not eat? فَرَاغَ إِلَى آلِهَتِهِمْ فَقَالَ أَلَا تَأْكُلُونَ
92 What is the matter with you that you do not speak?" مَا لَكُمْ لَا تَنطِقُونَ
93 then he turned on them, striking them down with his right hand. فَرَاغَ عَلَيْهِمْ ضَرْبًا بِالْيَمِينِ
94 His people came rushing towards him, فَأَقْبَلُوا إِلَيْهِ يَزِفُّونَ
95 but he said, "How can you worship things you carve with your own hands, قَالَ أَتَعْبُدُونَ مَا تَنْحِتُونَ
96 when it is God who has created you and all your handiwork?" وَاللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمْ وَمَا تَعْمَلُونَ
97 They said, "Build a pyre for him and throw him into the blaze!" قَالُوا ابْنُوا لَهُ بُنْيَانًا فَأَلْقُوهُ فِي الْجَحِيمِ
98 They wanted to harm him, but We humiliated them all. فَأَرَادُوا بِهِ كَيْدًا فَجَعَلْنَاهُمُ الْأَسْفَلِينَ
99 He said, "I will go to my Lord: He is sure to guide me. وَقَالَ إِنِّي ذَاهِبٌ إِلَى رَبِّي سَيَهْدِينِ
100 Lord, grant me a righteous son." رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ
101 We gave him the good news that he would have a patient, forbearing son. فَبَشَّرْنَاهُ بِغُلَامٍ حَلِيمٍ
102 And when he reached the age when he could work with him, he said, "O my son, I have seen in a dream that I am sacrificing you. So tell me what you think of it!" He replied, "O my father, do as you are commanded; and God willing, you will find me steadfast." فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ مَعَهُ السَّعْيَ قَالَ يَا بُنَيَّ إِنِّي أَرَى فِي الْمَنَامِ أَنِّي أَذْبَحُكَ فَانظُرْ مَاذَا تَرَى قَالَ يَا أَبَتِ افْعَلْ مَا تُؤْمَرُ سَتَجِدُنِي إِن شَاء اللَّهُ مِنَ الصَّابِرِينَ
103 When they had both submitted to God, and he had laid his son down on his face, فَلَمَّا أَسْلَمَا وَتَلَّهُ لِلْجَبِينِ
104 We called out to him, "Abraham, وَنَادَيْنَاهُ أَنْ يَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ
105 you have fulfilled the dream." It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good, قَدْ صَدَّقْتَ الرُّؤْيَا إِنَّا كَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ
106 that surely was a manifest trial, إِنَّ هَذَا لَهُوَ الْبَلَاء الْمُبِينُ
107 We ransomed him with a great sacrifice, وَفَدَيْنَاهُ بِذِبْحٍ عَظِيمٍ
108 and left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِي الْآخِرِينَ
109 "Peace and salutation to Abraham!" سَلَامٌ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ
110 That is how We recompense the righteous: كَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ
111 truly, he was one of Our faithful servants. إِنَّهُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
112 We gave Abraham the good news of Isaac, a prophet and a righteous man, وَبَشَّرْنَاهُ بِإِسْحَاقَ نَبِيًّا مِّنَ الصَّالِحِينَ
113 and blessed him and Isaac too: some of their offspring were good, but some clearly sinned against their souls. وَبَارَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَى إِسْحَاقَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا مُحْسِنٌ وَظَالِمٌ لِّنَفْسِهِ مُبِينٌ
114 We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: وَلَقَدْ مَنَنَّا عَلَى مُوسَى وَهَارُونَ
115 We saved them and their people from great distress; وَنَجَّيْنَاهُمَا وَقَوْمَهُمَا مِنَ الْكَرْبِ الْعَظِيمِ
116 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; وَنَصَرْنَاهُمْ فَكَانُوا هُمُ الْغَالِبِينَ
117 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; وَآتَيْنَاهُمَا الْكِتَابَ الْمُسْتَبِينَ
118 and guided them to the straight path; وَهَدَيْنَاهُمَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ
119 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِمَا فِي الْآخِرِينَ
120 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" سَلَامٌ عَلَى مُوسَى وَهَارُونَ
121 This is how We reward those who do good: إِنَّا كَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ
122 truly they were among Our faithful servants. إِنَّهُمَا مِنْ عِبَادِنَا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
123 Elijah too was one of the messengers. وَإِنَّ إِلْيَاسَ لَمِنْ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
124 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ
125 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, أَتَدْعُونَ بَعْلًا وَتَذَرُونَ أَحْسَنَ الْخَالِقِينَ
126 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" وَاللَّهَ رَبَّكُمْ وَرَبَّ آبَائِكُمُ الْأَوَّلِينَ
127 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَإِنَّهُمْ لَمُحْضَرُونَ
128 except the chosen servants of God. إِلَّا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ الْمُخْلَصِينَ
129 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِي الْآخِرِينَ
130 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" سَلَامٌ عَلَى إِلْ يَاسِينَ
131 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: إِنَّا كَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ
132 surely he was one of Our believing servants. إِنَّهُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
133 Lot was also one of the messengers. وَإِنَّ لُوطًا لَّمِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
134 We saved him and all his people, إِذْ نَجَّيْنَاهُ وَأَهْلَهُ أَجْمَعِينَ
135 except for an old woman who stayed behind, إِلَّا عَجُوزًا فِي الْغَابِرِينَ
136 and We destroyed the rest. ثُمَّ دَمَّرْنَا الْآخَرِينَ
137 You pass by their ruins morning وَإِنَّكُمْ لَتَمُرُّونَ عَلَيْهِم مُّصْبِحِينَ
138 and night: will you not take heed? وَبِاللَّيْلِ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ
139 Jonah too was one of the messengers. وَإِنَّ يُونُسَ لَمِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
140 He fled to the overloaded ship. إِذْ أَبَقَ إِلَى الْفُلْكِ الْمَشْحُونِ
141 And then they cast lots and he was the one who lost, فَسَاهَمَ فَكَانَ مِنْ الْمُدْحَضِينَ
142 and the fish swallowed him while he was blaming himself. فَالْتَقَمَهُ الْحُوتُ وَهُوَ مُلِيمٌ
143 Had he not been one of those who acknowledge the glory of God, فَلَوْلَا أَنَّهُ كَانَ مِنْ الْمُسَبِّحِينَ
144 he would certainly have remained inside the fish till the Day of Resurrection. لَلَبِثَ فِي بَطْنِهِ إِلَى يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ
145 But We caused him to be cast forth on to the beach, sick as he was, فَنَبَذْنَاهُ بِالْعَرَاء وَهُوَ سَقِيمٌ
146 and We caused a gourd tree to grow over him. وَأَنبَتْنَا عَلَيْهِ شَجَرَةً مِّن يَقْطِينٍ
147 We sent him as a messenger to a hundred thousand people or more, وَأَرْسَلْنَاهُ إِلَى مِئَةِ أَلْفٍ أَوْ يَزِيدُونَ
148 and they believed in him: so We let them live in ease for a while. فَآمَنُوا فَمَتَّعْنَاهُمْ إِلَى حِينٍ
149 Now ask them whether your Lord has daughters, whereas they have sons. فَاسْتَفْتِهِمْ أَلِرَبِّكَ الْبَنَاتُ وَلَهُمُ الْبَنُونَ
150 Did We create the angels females, to which they were witnesses? أَمْ خَلَقْنَا الْمَلَائِكَةَ إِنَاثًا وَهُمْ شَاهِدُونَ
151 No indeed! It is one of their fabrications when they say: أَلَا إِنَّهُم مِّنْ إِفْكِهِمْ لَيَقُولُونَ
152 "God has begotten children." They are truly liars. وَلَدَ اللَّهُ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَكَاذِبُونَ
153 Has He chosen daughters over sons? أَصْطَفَى الْبَنَاتِ عَلَى الْبَنِينَ
154 What is the matter with you? How do you form your judgement? مَا لَكُمْ كَيْفَ تَحْكُمُونَ
155 Will you not then reflect? أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ
156 Or have you clear evidence? أَمْ لَكُمْ سُلْطَانٌ مُّبِينٌ
157 Then produce your scriptures, if you are telling the truth. فَأْتُوا بِكِتَابِكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
158 They claim that He has kinship with the jinn, yet the jinn themselves know that they will be produced before Him [for judgement]. وَجَعَلُوا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْجِنَّةِ نَسَبًا وَلَقَدْ عَلِمَتِ الْجِنَّةُ إِنَّهُمْ لَمُحْضَرُونَ
159 God is far above what they attribute to Him, سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ
160 but not so the true servants of God, إِلَّا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ الْمُخْلَصِينَ
161 neither you nor what you worship فَإِنَّكُمْ وَمَا تَعْبُدُونَ
162 can lure away from God any مَا أَنتُمْ عَلَيْهِ بِفَاتِنِينَ
163 except those who will burn in Hell. إِلَّا مَنْ هُوَ صَالِ الْجَحِيمِ
164 [The angels say], "Every single one of us has his place assigned: وَمَا مِنَّا إِلَّا لَهُ مَقَامٌ مَّعْلُومٌ
165 we are those who stand ranged in ranks. وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ الصَّافُّونَ
166 We glorify God." وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ الْمُسَبِّحُونَ
167 They say, وَإِنْ كَانُوا لَيَقُولُونَ
168 "If we had had with us a Book like that of the people of old, لَوْ أَنَّ عِندَنَا ذِكْرًا مِّنْ الْأَوَّلِينَ
169 we would surely have been God's chosen servants," لَكُنَّا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ الْمُخْلَصِينَ
170 but they have rejected it, [the Quran] and they shall soon learn! فَكَفَرُوا بِهِ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ
171 And surely Our word has gone forth respecting Our servants, the messengers: وَلَقَدْ سَبَقَتْ كَلِمَتُنَا لِعِبَادِنَا الْمُرْسَلِينَ
172 that it is certainly they who will be helped; إِنَّهُمْ لَهُمُ الْمَنصُورُونَ
173 and that it is Our host that would certainly triumph. وَإِنَّ جُندَنَا لَهُمُ الْغَالِبُونَ
174 So turn away from them for a while. فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ حَتَّى حِينٍ
175 Watch them: they will soon see. وَأَبْصِرْهُمْ فَسَوْفَ يُبْصِرُونَ
176 Do they really wish to hasten Our punishment? أَفَبِعَذَابِنَا يَسْتَعْجِلُونَ
177 When it descends on their courtyards, how terrible that morning will be for those who were warned! فَإِذَا نَزَلَ بِسَاحَتِهِمْ فَسَاء صَبَاحُ الْمُنذَرِينَ
178 So turn away from them for a while. وَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ حَتَّى حِينٍ
179 And watch, for they will soon see. وَأَبْصِرْ فَسَوْفَ يُبْصِرُونَ
180 Glory be to your Lord: the Lord of Glory is far above what they attribute to Him. سُبْحَانَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ الْعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ
181 Peace be upon the Messengers وَسَلَامٌ عَلَى الْمُرْسَلِينَ
182 and praise be to God, the Lord of all the Worlds. وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
