# Translation Ayah
1 Woe to every slanderer backbiter. وَيْلٌ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُّمَزَةٍ
2 Who gathers wealth and counts it over. الَّذِي جَمَعَ مَالًا وَعَدَّدَهُ
3 Thinking that his wealth has made him immortal. يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُ أَخْلَدَهُ
4 By no means. He will be thrown into the Crusher. كَلَّا لَيُنبَذَنَّ فِي الْحُطَمَةِ
5 And what will make you realize what the Crusher is? وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْحُطَمَةُ
6 God's kindled Fire. نَارُ اللَّهِ الْمُوقَدَةُ
7 That laps to the hearts. الَّتِي تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى الْأَفْئِدَةِ
8 It closes in on them. إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِم مُّؤْصَدَةٌ
9 In extended columns. فِي عَمَدٍ مُّمَدَّدَةٍ
